Opened in 2005, The purple Lotus is one of the oldest operating tattoo studios in South Carolina. Shavon and her husband Nelson have been serving the cola area for almost two decades
Shavon is the first woman Tattoo Artist to ever be licensed in the state of South Carolina
Purple Lotus Tattoo was established 1990 in Tokyo Japan and moved to Columbia SC in 2005 when Shavon moved back to the US to be closer to her family, and was instrumental in bringing about the legislation that legalized Tattooing in this state.
Every Tattoo at Purple Lotus is a custom designed work of Art, NO " Flash" here, you will never have that TERRIBLE experience of seeing your " Flash" Tattoo on another person.
